What is a Nexus Letter -- Establishing a connection.
A nexus letter establishes a connection between the condition and military service. When the Veteran's Administration considers a claim for compensation, part of their process is to evaluate whether or not an injury, disease process, or health issue was incurred in or caused by active-duty military service.
We are extremely well versed in the compensation process and know what the VA requires in order to consider service connection(s). Understanding the complexities of medical connections is what we do best. We specialize in direct and secondary connections and enjoy the challenge of toxic exposure causes.
NP Wordsmith works as a team! From our professional medical records extractors, registered nurse, and professional medical staff, we will all be your resource to get your information organized in order to present your case to the VA in a succinct and professional letter.

Even if you don't want a nexus letter, we can still provide valuable insight into how to maneuver through the C&P examination process. We work very closely with VSOs in the county as well as independently to support our veterans. Consultation services involve a review of your current service connections, current health issues or injuries and then evaluation of how they may be related to military service. Discover possibilities by consulting with an experienced examiner who knows medical rationale for how things connect! Fees vary based on complexity and research involved.
